Terms of ServiceClient Agreements

1. Booking Retainers & Payments

To secure your session date or wedding date on our calendar, a non-refundable retainer deposit (typically 50% of the total package value) and a signed agreement are required. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 7 days prior to the first event day or shoot date. Dates are not reserved until both deposit and agreement are submitted.

2. Rescheduling & Cancellations

If you need to reschedule a shoot, a minimum of 14 days' notice is required. Rescheduling is subject to studio availability. In the event of a client cancellation, retainer fees are non-refundable. For wedding reschedules, we make every effort to accommodate the new date; however, if the new date conflicts with prior bookings, the retainer remains non-refundable.

3. Copyright & Media Usage

All photographs, films, and negative files created by Swara Studio remain the intellectual property of the studio and the lead photographer under Indian and international copyright laws.

• Client License: Clients are granted a non-exclusive, perpetual personal-use license to share, print, copy, and display the final color-graded images with family and friends.
• Restrictions: Commercial sale, resale, licensing, or submission of our files to blogs or commercial publications without our prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
• Editing Rights: Clients are not permitted to alter, crop, apply filters, or re-edit the final delivered photographs.

4. Delivery Timelines

We prioritize careful, artful post-production over speed. Sneak peek highlights (5-10 images) are typically delivered within 1 week of the event. Full online digital galleries are delivered within 6 to 12 weeks depending on seasonal volumes. Custom physical heirloom albums are printed and delivered within 4 to 8 weeks after the client approves the final page designs.

5. Force Majeure & Studio Liability

In the highly unlikely event of severe illness, sudden emergency, or equipment failure preventing the lead photographer from performing, Swara Studio will source an equivalent professional associate. In case of extreme Force Majeure (weather catastrophes, local lockdowns, act of God), the studio's total liability is strictly limited to a refund of any payments received.

6. Artistic Discretion

Clients contract our services based on their familiarity and trust in our natural, analog-inspired, film-forward creative style. All final edits, color-grading choices, crop frames, and selections are made at the sole artistic discretion of the lead editor at Swara Studio.

7. Agreement Acceptance

Booking a consultation, signing an inquiry form, or completing an invoice transaction constitutes a binding acceptance of these Terms of Service.
